Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi has released Advertisement No. 03/2026-27 inviting online applications for 55 posts across the Administrative, Technical, Library, Engineering and Rajbhasha cadres — Junior Superintendent, Junior Technician (5 branch groups), Junior Library Assistant, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer and Junior Translation Officer. Applications must be submitted online via the SAMARTH portal (iitbhunt.samarth.edu.in) between 25 August 2026 and 24 September 2026 (5:00 PM). After online submission, a printout of the application along with supporting documents must also be sent by Speed Post to The Registrar, IIT (BHU), Varanasi — 221005, within 7 days of the closing date, through proper channel if already in government/PSU service. Selection involves shortlisting followed by a Screening Test/Written Test/Presentation/Group Discussion/Personal Interview as applicable to the post; the schedule is communicated only by email to shortlisted candidates. Application fee is ₹500 for Group B posts and ₹250 for Group C posts (SC/ST/PwBD/all female candidates are exempt from the fee for both groups). Reservation and age relaxation follow Government of India norms.
