About This Recruitment

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released the notification for recruitment of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' 2026 through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), for a total of 175 posts across Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science disciplines, under Advertisement No. ISRO:ICRB:03(EMC):2026. The vacancy break-up includes 99 posts in Electronics (BE001), 52 posts in Mechanical (BE002) and 21 posts in Computer Science (BE003) at ISRO, along with one post each in Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science (BE001A, BE002A, BE003A) at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), an ISRO-affiliated autonomous body. Online applications are open from 27 August 2026 to 16 September 2026, with the application fee payable within the same window. The application fee is ₹750 for all categories — General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PwBD and female candidates — of which ₹500 is refunded to candidates who appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT). Applicants must hold a B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10, and must not exceed 28 years of age as on 16 September 2026, with standard age relaxation applicable to reserved categories. Selection will be through a Computer Based Test, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates where applicable.
