Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) - Backlog Vacancy

State Bank of India has released the notification for recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre for 2026, under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17. A total of 9,766 posts are on offer, made up of 7,680 regular vacancies and 2,086 backlog vacancies across states and union territories. Online applications are open from 11 August 2026 to 31 August 2026. Candidates can apply for a post in only one state or union territory, and are expected to be proficient in the local language specified for that state. Selection will be through a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination, with a Local Language Test for candidates who have not studied the local language up to Class 10 level. The Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for 26 September and 3 October 2026, with the Main Examination expected on 23 November 2026. Applicants must have completed graduation in any discipline, or be able to complete it by 31 December 2026, and must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on 1 April 2026, with standard age relaxation applicable to reserved categories. The starting basic pay for a Junior Associate is ₹26,730, taking the approximate in-hand salary to ₹42,000–43,000 per month depending on place of posting, along with DA, HRA, TA and other allowances.
